YANA-IGY is building an opt-in supplemental notification service for disaster-related information.
YANA-IGY does not replace official emergency alerts, instructions, evacuation orders, or public safety guidance.
That's where the YANA-IGY Mesh Alert system comes in. When you enable Mesh Relay on your phone, it joins a network of opted-in devices. If you lose cell service, your phone can broadcast the emergency alert to nearby phones using Bluetooth Low Energy or Wi-Fi Direct. Those phones pass it on to the next phones — like ripples in a pond. The moment any phone in the chain regains a signal, the alerts are uploaded to the YANA-IGY system and delivered nationwide.
No personal data is shared — only the encrypted alert payload (message, timestamp, general location). You can enable or disable Mesh Relay at any time.
Administrator login required
Dual-sense alert: your phone vibrates Braille patterns AND reads the alert aloud simultaneously — choose touch, speech, or both.
Receive critical disaster notifications via SMS and Browser Push. Free for residents.
